Henry Thomson is currently a Professor at Auburn University, Department of Economics. He received PhD from the University of Houston in 1981 and has been at Auburn since 1987. He focuses on research in international economics and energy economics.  His academic research published in over 100 articles ranks in the top 5% worldwide in Research Papers in Economics. Professor Thompson has given over 150 university seminars and presentations worldwide, and serves on editorial boards for a number of journals.  His textbook, International Economics, Global Markets and Competition, is in its 4^th edition.  Henry Thompson is an honorary and founding member of the International Economics and Finance Society.
