Filippos Touralis – Smyrniotis is PhD candidate in the Department of Economics at the University of Piraeus. He obtained his MSc in Economics and Business Strategy (8,63/10) from the Department of Economics at the University of Piraeus and his BSc is obtained from the same Department.

His research interests lie on the field of Foreign Direct Investment. In 2013 he participated in the research team with subject “The prospects of the economist profession in Greece and its role in exiting the economic crisis” (Economic Chamber of Greece and University of Piraeus).

He is elected member of the council of representatives of the Economic Chamber of Greece since 2013.
