Athanasios Panayiotopoulos works for the Theological School of Halki in Constantinople as part of a European program aiming at the promotion of the cultural heritage of the school. In the past he has worked for big companies such as Hellenic Petroleum. He holds three MSc diplomas[Sustainable Development with specialization in Local Development from the Department of Applied Economics and Domestic Economics at Harokopio University – Bioeconomy from the Department of Economics of the University of Piraeus and the Department of Biology of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens – Environment & Health from the Department of Pathological Anatomy at the Medical School of the National & Kapodistrian University of Athens]. His main diploma is in Business Administration from the Technological Educational Institutes of Sterea Ellada.
He has presented his scientific study at the international workshop on Biomass (Techno-economical project research of biogas unit in Messenia area- Serafeio Innovation Cultural Athletic Center- 19/04/2019 ) and the results are to be published in the coming period from international scientific journals. His research interests are versatile, always with an environmental orientation, and focus on applied econometrics, advancements in biotechnology and the impact of the environment on human health.
He is a member of the Economic Chamber of Greece and has recently joined as a researcher the Laboratory of Industrial and Sustainable Development.
